Peter Go | Coach, CrossFit Level 1, Trigger Point, CPR, EMT, World’s Gym Fitness Instructor, Paralympic Committee For Wounded Warrior Veterans 2011 (Colorado Springs OTC)

Peter had the opportunity to represent Hawai'i, one of only 3 teams in the state to qualify, in the 2012 NorCal Regionals. He has also competed in local competitions including the Hawai'i VA Showdown (2012) and Cupids Revenge (2013). In addition, he has competed in many different races including the Army Ten Miler (2010), Century Bike Ride (2010, 2011), Army Reserves Ten Miler as a team member (2011), Fort Derussy Biathlon (2011), the TinMan Triathlon (2011), the Honolulu Marathon (2011, 2012), Spartan Race (2013), and Warrior Dash (2013).

Peter started CrossFit because he wanted a challenge and because a few of his friends kept bugging him about it. He decided to join in November, 2011, and has been in love with it ever since. He enjoys the variance and the intensity it brings. Peter especially loves the community and the energy that surrounds it. CrossFit is a place that brings the best out of anyone, and it has allowed Peter to see his fitness level grow. To top it all off, the pain and agony he has endured is what he enjoys the most (after the fact, of course). It is a feeling not worth talking about but worth doing over and over again. He loves the community, education, and respect that everyone shares.

Peter loves being able to bring someone up to a level that they have not expected. It is the product of making them feel accomplished/refreshed/happy and ready to attack the day!

“Coaching is more than just coaching – it’s also the beauty about knowing your clients. Clients most often give their trust and faith to their coaches, and in return, I have that professional duty to uphold and keep that bond safely sealed. Personally, coaching leads me in knowing myself better. I gain more than the clients can imagine. I will not discuss them here because it is deeply rooted closely in my ticker.” – Peter
